Ambystoma laterale
This salamander was about 6 and 1/2 inches long. It had bright neon spots and a black coat " under" the spots. It's tail made up a big portion of it's length.
This salamander was found under a log in the woods of Westbrook Park NJ.
It did not have a mate or off spring with it. It has its name because of its neon blue spots.
