Big Toothed River Stingray

Potamotrygon henlei

Description:

A big toothed river stingray at the Tulsa Zoo. It is a species of freshwater stingray in the family Potamotrygonidae. Threatened due to habitat loss. Couldn't find much else on this species. Stingray are fish, which is odd because I though they where something all their own.

Habitat:

Endemic to Brazil.
