The needles are safe to chew on, but don't eat them because they will cut your throat, and high in vitamin D. DON'T EAT UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE IT IS LOB-LOLLY OTHER PINE TREES HAVE DANGEROUS TOXINS THAT CAN GIVE YOU CANCER!

Use them for decorating!!!
Those are great photos! My great uncle has a loblolly tree farm, and I love this type of tree. I have long leaf pines in my yard.
