European Green Lizard

Lacerta viridis

About 10 inches long with tail.

On a path at Plitvicka Lakes. In a forested area but enjoying the sun on a much-used path.

According to Wikipedia, these lizards can be 16 inches long, so this may have been a young one because it wasn't that big.
