Mulberry Longhorn Beetle

Apriona germari, Cerambycidae, Coleoptera

Description:

I interrupted this majestic beast stripping the bark off a fig tree branch. Formidable jaws and powerful flyers. Being a longhorn beetle, it's antennae are substantially longer than its body. (70mm)
