Description:

Delicate little single pink caps on thread-like stalk. .5in/1.25cm cap held about 7 cm above ground.

Habitat:

Rainforest floor litter.

Notes:

There are various patent application for immunostimulants derived from this family of fungi - specifically related to the production of lentinan. There may be applications in cancer drugs (esp. stomach cancers).
