shame if it was killed. glassed eyes and line running from mouth. Fresh fine sand around the gill plate. shame, sharks are the most needed apex hunter of the sea. no sharks, no reefs.

Hi Jennifer, this is a blacknose shark... could you give us some more info on this spotting? Was the shark caught and landed, or did you find it on the beach like this? Florida has some tight regulations on shark fishing, if I recall. At any rate, this is a shark that's not often seen by people, they're quite timid, so a very interesting addition to the site!
