Shrew

Description:

Probably a member of the Soricidae. It was caught in a household mouse trap. It looks like a shrew, but it was very bristly, long haired and with a bold patch on the head. Sorry for the bad picture quality! I am curious if it is a known species, or some mutation?

Habitat:

Built up neigbourhood (urban) with gardens, close to the river Rhine.
