Description:

This bright yellow lichen really brightened up the bare hawthorn hedge that lined the pathway we were walking on. It practically covered the whole of the branch and the majority of the hedge.

Habitat:

Growing on a Hawthorn hedge in Derbyshire, however lichen scan occur in some of the most extreme places on earth.
