Green Tree Frog

Hyla cinerea

Description:

Adult green tree frog taking shelter on the nature center whiteboard at Cape Henlopen State Park. The little guy was finally disturbed enough by park visitors to hop to the relative safety of a blade of grass

Habitat:

Maritime forest and open scrub.

Notes:

It was a foggy rainy day, which probably contributed to the boldness exhibited by this normally nocturnal frog.
