common tree vine

Description:

this is a vine that looked to be strangling this tree to death, it was rising and growing all over it! this plant was to long for me to measure the length of it. but i did measure the width. Which was 1.8 inches wide. but it wasn't consistant through out the tree. as it was lower to the ground it was a little bit bigger and as it was above and in other tree it got allot smaller and even a little bit bigger. the texture of the bark was surprisingly very smooth, as it did apear rough. but what was really interesting was that it never seemed to end. i could never find the end to this plant. and as i was trying to find the end i came across some flowers, i think they were apart of it or it might have belonged to the tree that was hosting this vine. But i didn't have the thought to stop and take a picture of it. but i do remember it quite well. It was yellow all around it, the peddles of it cured up making the flower itself form a cup. and the anthers were right next to the nectar. but the anthers and the nectar of the flower were being trapped off by the stigma's... thats a smart way to self pollinate.
