Must be migrating northward. I was told that a couple weeks earlier there were hundreds of them. Regarding the third picture - by the time I snapped the picture, it had taken flight, and all that I got was the wake. I thought it was unique to miss the shot, but the wake was still there. Fractioin of a second.
