Spotting

Description:

I found this interesting beetle on the side of a tree near a unknown mushroom. This beetle was black with 4 yellow spots on it's back and 3 smaller yellow spots. It was about 1 cm in length and 1/2 cm wide. The tree it was crawling on had a few holes in it which were just the right size for these beetles.

Habitat:

It was living on a decaying tree in a secondary rain forest at Singapore American School.
