Smaller then a Mocking bird, this bird is mostly brown with a slight reddish-brown throat and chest. Slender body, long legs and tail. What stands out most on these birds are the pale eyes.
Found in the western states in scrub, chaparral and forest shrubs
Though this bird resembles a cross between a Wren and Bushtit, it is not related to any other species in North America
