I removed the common name that was placed in the space reserved for scientific names (like the one I've suggested). In general, you should check out suggestions to see if you agree with them (follow the link provided and/or perform a search on the scientific name suggested). If you agree with a suggestion you can just edit your spotting using the terms provided. Otherwise you can look for an ID or wait for another user to make a different suggestion.

Thanks for sharing and Welcome to Project Noah! We hope you like the site (and community!) as much as we do. There are many features you can explore, but first you should read the http://www.projectnoah.org/faq where you can find all the advice and "rules" of Project Noah :-) We also have a blog http://blog.projectnoah.org/ where we post articles from our specialists from different areas and categories of spottings, as well as wildlife "adventures". There is also a support chat for technical help and a nature chat to connect with other PN users. You, like the rest of the community (and as I have for your spotting here), will be able to suggest IDs for species that you know but that have not yet been identified, and make other comments on other's spottings, and they on yours. We also have "missions" you can join and add spottings to http://www.projectnoah.org/missions Note that most missions are "local". Be sure not to add to a mission if your spotting is outside of the mission boundaries :-) Each mission has a map you may consult showing its range. So enjoy yourself, share, communicate, learn. See you around :-)
