Is this 5 feet tall, or growing 5 feet up the slope? I think I know the answer, but be sure to be specific. Not everyone knows what our local flora looks like. More details about the flower and leaves (e.g. number of petals, petal and leaf shape, etc.) with close-up photos would be great for assisting ID. You can post multiple photos under the same spotting.

That said, I think I know what it is, anyway! I'll put my guess under ID suggestions; maybe someone with more plant knowledge can confirm.
