Project Noah Nature School
Very large spider, about 9 cm across.
Near a creek, semi tropical.
Thanks Daniel for the ID and the link.
The closest guess I can make is family Sparassidae(Giant crab spiders). The genera Heteropoda (huntsman spider) and Olios are found near the border to mexico.http://bugguide.net/node/view/6928
Thanks drP
