A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Anas Platyrhynchos
This duck belongs to the subfamily of Anatinae of the waterfowl family Anatidae. The male birds have a glossy green head and are grey on wings and belly, the females are mainly brown-speckled.
Mallards live in wet areas, eat water plants and small animals. This is a very widely known duck that lives across North America including some of the central American countries.
The Picture is not as clear as I wanted it to be because they were constantly moving.
