Clerodendrum syphonanthus
Clerodendrum syphonanthus R. Br. (family Lamiaceae), the Musical Note plant, is a small bushy shrub native to the Philippines and New Guinea. Its white flowers appear in large masses. The flowers are white, showy with long red stamens protruding out. Its long tubular buds look like pure white musical notes standing at attention in dense clusters atop the stems, hence the common name.
Makiling Botanic Gardens, a 300-hectare protected forest park, situated at the lower elevations of the Mount Makiling Forest Reserve's Molawin-Dampalit watershed in Los Baños, Laguna.
Photos included here are from Oct 20, 2013 and Nov 15, 2015 visits to Makiling, to show both the buds and flowers of the same plant. Similar species: https://almostedenplants.com/shopping/pr....

Thank you Viv! Most parts of the plant were under the shade. I took advantage in getting the photos of those flowers reached by the sunlight. :)
