Description:

Bougainvillea glabra is a woody perennial vine that grows and flourishes in hot and dry climate. The plant requires deep watering to become drought resistant. The flower of this plant is small and insignificant.

Habitat:

The plant is found in our front yard located at Brgy. Visayan Village, Tagum City.

Notes:

Used as botanical insecticide; and as an infusion to treat gastrointestinal and respiratory problems in Mexico.
