Candelariella vitellina
A strange yellowish lichen which made a thin line the shape of an upside-down "U."
It also was right on a huge granite boulder, which would make sense considering its habitat.

I wonder if this could be Common Goldspeck (Candelariella vitellina)? It is common and widespread and grows on granitic rocks.
