Description:

A member of the golden orb-web spider. Bright red spot on the abdomen. The spider is known to mate in autumn. Since this year's winter was quite late for taiwan. I might have spotted a mating ritual early winter.

Habitat:

Spotted in a bamboo forest. Around 1000m above sea level.
