This bracket fungi is around 3 inches long, and 4 and a half inches wide. It is white with a little green tint in some areas. If you feel the fungus, you will notice that the edges feels a bit ridged, and you can also see some brown rings on the inside of fungus.
It was found on a fallen tree log in the Singapore American School's secondary rainforest. Singapore is a Southeast Asian island off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, north of the equator.
Bracket fungi grows in semi-circular shapes, are edible, and can also be used to make medicine. They appear during the spring, summer, and autumn, and have rings to signify how old they are.
