This crust fungus shape: circular; size: 1/8" to 1/2" in diameter growing together; coloration: dark velvety brown center with cream colored outer border, when larger a gray center inside the brown

Habitat:

Moist deciduous woods at 45 degrees n latitude

Notes:

I'm interested to know if anyone has seen any toxicology studies of this fungus?
