Bright red cones coming out of ginger-like plants and from the comes come out finger nail-like flower parts. Many have two 'nails' some only one: like this one.
Garden of a tiger show park (Tiger Kingdom), at Phuket, Tahiland. The place is warm to hot.
While mother and daughter were busy in the 'Tiger Kingdom' inside the park at Phuket, Thailand, I and our son went around the garden and spotted this strange plant.
