Description:

It looks like Ice. It was a cold morning and i saw it in the woods. But it wasn't Ice, it was fluffy and soft. It was about 15 centimeters long and 2 centimeters thick.

Habitat:

In the middle of West-Germany, NRW. I saw it in a conifer forest. It was shady.

This is actually ice. It is squeezed out from via capilliary action from dead barkless wood by freezing. You can read about it here in the comments. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/864...
