mud crab

Description:

A small greenish crab with a slightly square carapace about 10 mm wide. The carapace had serrations along the sides just lateral and posterior to the eyes. Internal to these spikes, the carapace paled into two creamy white patches. Laterally placed eyes were on short stalks.
I could barely make out the 4 pairs of walking legs and could not see the cheliped (claws) at all.

Habitat:

Spotted hiding amongst small rocks and algae in tidal mud flats.

Notes:

I would like to have this little crab identified and see better photos of the whole crab. He was very well camouflaged; only his quick scuttling amongst the rocks gave him away!
