Grey Heron

Ardea cinerea

Description:

A wading bird of the heron family Ardeidae. It is a large bird, standing up to 1m tall. Adults have a white head with a broad black supercilium and slender crest

Habitat:

Native throughout temperate Europe and Asia and also parts of Africa. This one was in Ruaha National Park in Tanzania.

Notes:

I would like someone to confirm is this is indeed a grey heron and not a black headed Heron.
