Koster's Curse

Clidemia hirta

Description:

A green plant with soft, fuzzy hairs on the leaves and stem. It ranges in size from about 1 cm to 10 cm. There are no fruit, flowers or bark on this plant. The leaf shape is elliptical, margin is ciliate, venation is netted pinnate, arrangement is opposite, texture is soft hairs, and root system is prop and stilt.

Habitat:

I'm not 100% positive about where the exact habitat for this plant is. But, I found this plant and took the picture in our rainforest at the Singapore American School. Although I have seen it in other places around Singapore.

Notes:

This happens to be my personal favorite plant, mostly because I love the soft texture of the leaves.
