tortoise beetle

Description:

about 3/4cm

Habitat:

primary rainforest

Notes:

I saw my first tortoise beetle on Noah. Ever since I've wanted to see one in the wild. That dream came true in Colombia. This wasn't the first tortoise beetle I saw in Colombia, but it was the first I spotted in the Amazon.
