Description:

At first sight I thought these were squirrels, then big rats, but something didn't match. I always thought Shrews were tiny but these are huge in relation the the European Shrews 6-10cm body, being 17-24cm body length + 17-24cm tail, so overall anything from 34-48cm.

Habitat:

Tropical montane rainforest
