Notes:

Spotted during a nighthike. It was the only time I saw a stick insect like this.

Hmm, yeah, that's an interesting observation. They certainly aren't that camouflaged on a leaf. I'm not sure.

Cool! I see a lot of photos of stick insects on leaves like this. Makes me wonder: Do they spend a lot of their time on leaves (which seems odd), or is it just that they're the small fraction of the population that are relatively easy to spot?
