Golden Dung Fly

Scathophaga stercoraria

Description:

Yellow fly. Found after walking up to a decayed deer carcass, it then flew away. As it was flying I could see it was carrying something black, which I could later see was another fly. I couldn't tell if the other fly was alive or dead.

Habitat:

Floodplain forest
