Common mormon (larva)

Hi Wildspirit, I just wanted to add a little information to my ID suggestion. I am pretty sure that your caterpillar (larva) is a 5th Instar of the Papilio polytes butterfly which is present in your part of India. If you look at the website I mentioned in my ID suggestion, scroll down to near the bottom of the page and you will see a picture just like yours. John B.
