Description:

Have a long tail and males have distinct black stripes. Are very skiddish lizards and will go down a crevice if they're startled. Found commonly throughout dry areas of Mexico and Central America.

Habitat:

Love to bask on flat rocks and trees. Have been seen on Mayan ruins and other tourist attractions
