Salmon Louse

Description:

Two of these were on the belly of this salmon, but only one seems to have punctured the skin to suck its blood. They survive on the mucus, blood, and skin of salmon and one or two can be found on most of the salmon here.

Habitat:

Found on a Silver Salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch)
