When I looked on Bugguide, there appears to be some confusion between the description on one page compared to the photos. C. rastricornis looks similar to C. pectinicornis. One has yellow markings on the thorax, the other doesn't. (First time I've found a confusion on BugGuide, I may say...) None of my insect books either specifies between the fishfly species.
