Deroplatys desiccata
Giant Dead Leaf Mantis - Deroplatys desiccata is mostly brown to dark brown in colour with patches of black. This one was a male sub-adult or nymph, without wings yet. The fully grown adults have wings. He has an interesting lobed abdomen. Pic#1 shows it having a moth for a meal. Pics#3 & #4 shows the lobed abdomen.
