Princess Tree

Paulownia tomentosa

Description:

10-25 m tall, with large heart-shaped to five-lobed leaves 15-40 cm across, arranged in opposite pairs on the stem. Princess tree invades forests, stream banks and some rocky habitats, displacing native plant species. Invasive in the Eastern part of the United States. Native to China.

roadsides, stream banks and forest edges

Taken at Patapsco State Park in Relay, Maryland. So glad I found this... It looked appealing!
