Hello Bryce. This is a very cute wasp, however, I believe this is a different species. Bald-faced hornets are quite large and have a white face. Here is a nice link with more information and images of Bald-faced Hornets: http://bugguide.net/node/view/2890

I think it is more likely that this wasp is a type of Braconid (parasitoid wasp). Compare yours here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/170
