House Sparrow

P. domesticus

Description:

I believe this is a house sparrow. It is small and brown and has striations on in it's feathers. House sparrows get their name from the fact that they are commonly found near homes. They are a common bird to see everyday.

Habitat:

House sparrows live near civilization. You can find these birds pretty much any where humans are found. These birds are less common in forest where there are less people and places to build nest.
