Changeable oriental garden lizard

Calotes versicolor

Description:

This one was about 40 cm long including its long tail. It changed from a vivid green to brown in less than a minute. It was on a coconut tree eating ants as they climbed the tree.

Habitat:

Gardens and parks.

Notes:

I was able to get quite close to this one.
