Stenacron candidum

Description:

Medium sized mayfly. Yellow body with bright green eyes. Brown banding on legs and dark crossveins on wings.

Habitat:

Old Fort Niagara. Found recently molted on a wooden window cover on one of the towers.

Single black spot (not black bar) in the forewing with spiracular spots without pleura streaks can only be Stenacron candidum
