Migrating through coastal Maine
We saw quite a few on Chebeague around the same day but haven't seen them since.
Kinglets are fascinating little birds, aren't they? The scientific name for this species is Regulus satrapa. It would be great if you could add this to your spotting page. Go to the spotting page and click on the "Edit this spotting" link to add the scientific name. Also, I'm curious as to how you came by this bird. Was it injured? Hope you are all having fun with Project Noah! I'm sure you get lots of migrating birds through your area; a very exciting time of year!
