Apis
This is a Honey Bee I found In my backyard. It has recently come out because of the warmer temperatures and the flowers are starting to bloom. Because the flowers are blooming, the bee has started to pollinate. There were a lot of bees on this tree, so when I went to take the picture I was scared that I would get stung! He is kind of camouflaging, but he is in the very middle of the picture, you can mainly see his head and his wings.
The Honey Bee, or Apis, lives in my backyard, more specifically, on my eastern redbud tree. (If you look at my spotting you will see a picture of this tree.) There were a TON of bees on this tree! Anyways, the bee lives in my backyard but it pollinates the tree. It also travels to other places in my backyard like over in the garden and by the daffodils. (Also one of my spottings)
