Caloplaca ferruginea
Comunity of lichens on a Holm oak twig. In red we have Caloplaca ferruginea (pic. 2), at the left we have Lecanora dispersa (pic. 3), the yellow one is Candelaria concolor (pic 4), the black one is Buellia punctata (pic. 5) and the grey one Parmelina sp. (pic. 6). Besides, Evernia prunastri is at the lower left margin. The total length of the twig here represented measures 2-3 cm. The diametre of the apothecia is 1-2 mm.

Good on you Lauren, notice that the diameter of the apothecia (fruiting bodies, the round disks) is 1-2 mm
I hadn't realized it was so tiny. Even more amazing. I'm going to start scrutinizing minute twigs! :)
Little twigs are usually full of lichens, but usually they are so small you do not notice. You have to check with a magnifier and then with a good macro

Thanks injica. I should say that the picture just represents just 2-3 cm of twig. the apothecia (round fruiting structures of the lichens) measure 1-2 mm in diameter
