Asian Forest Tortoise

Manouria emys

Description:

I saw no evidence of anyone looking after these creatures. There were several concrete pits, one with filthy water, the rest dry. There were no signs of food in any of them and some seemed inaccessible through the undergrowth. They can only be seen from the old wooden walkway through the jungle which itself is largely rotten and hardly safe to walk on.

Habitat:

zoo

Notes:

Lok Kawi wildlife park
