Thysania agrippina
Measuring around 12 inches. Master of Camouflage. Found at the neighbors house.
First shot should always be the best one ;-)... In this case the whole moth and the following pictures can be some details/macros (I know you are good in this!). Just take the main screen of Project Noah, if I see there an interesting spotting I will look at the full spotting, if it is not "the best one" somebody might miss it...
Thanks! Almost ;-)... I would take #2 as your new #1 and kick out the Lepidoptera of the scientific name field. In the description section you may add any important information you like to see there.
Bayucca. I think I changed it correctly? Thank you for the species ID. I just wanted to show how big this beauty was and yes it is the girl with the wasp.
I'm so glad to see this! We used to have this moth in San Cristobal but we haven't seen it for years now because of the population pressure.
Welcome, Robert!! Nice to have you here an board. I know this lovely and fearless girl, it is the one with the wasp ;-)...
Since we are a strict nature forum without any human people on, only behind the pictures, please, change the order of the pictures that #2 is actually #1. You can keep #1 as #3 to illustrate the world's most largest moth (wingspan!).
