Two-Tailed Spider

Hersilia savignyi

Description:

Even though she had lost two of her limbs, this extremely well camouflaged spider has managed to catch a wasp and now feeding on it. In fact without the prey I would have easily missed it on the tree trunk. Size about 10mm without the legs.

Habitat:

Tree trunks.
