ETHIOPIAN HEDGEHOG

Paraechinus aethiopicus

Description:

Is one of the rare desert animals specially in Kuwait. The difference between this Hedgehog with the others famous types is the dark face and founded in the far distance of the desert where no or less human activities that reach to that land. Photo took in Al-Liyah Reserve north of Kuwait. This photo is one of the ten photos that I participated in the Wild Arabia Exhibition with National Geographic Al-Arabiya in Abu Dhabi (April 2011).

Sorry "Debbie Stewart" I upload the photo again due to some problem cause I upload it from the Iphone app. and there was no map location. In Kuwait we saw the regular Hedgehog (white face) in the farms area and in some desert area like Natural reserves and we have many of Natural reserves in Kuwait.. But for me it's the first time to saw these rare Hedgehog.
